Erthuzian

Erthuzians produce cosmic cream candies, also known as treecees. These candies have the same effect as alcohol, but the effect is only temporary — it gives the central nervous system "a little bounce."

The experience of eating a treecee is remarkable: at first it's bland, then it tingles and is bitter, then sour, then sweet, and then it becomes like something the taster has never experienced before. This complex flavor journey makes treecees a sought-after delicacy across Consortium space.

Merrisap is a substance similar to cannabis, but native to the planet Erthuzia. It is smoked by the rich and is easier to acquire outside of Sol than traditional cannabis, making it popular among those who travel beyond the Terran system.

The Jadespear, a notorious pirate vessel, maintained a limited supply of merrisap controlled by Mi-Sun. Pirates smoke it frequently, though disciplined crews strictly forbid smoking before missions or during work.

Erthuzia is the Erthuzian homeworld. The planet is the source of both treecees and merrisap, making it a point of interest for traders and connoisseurs throughout the Consortium.
